Lang Pioneer Village

A totally unexpected and really wonderful living museum....in the middle of rural Ontario.

In the printer's shop, the man working there is an associate professor of history at the University of Arizona.  He was making prints from engravings from the mid 1800's.

Rachel LOVED the school house.  She promptly found a desk, grabbed a slate and chalk and did exactly what the teacher asked.  Snort. Not expecting this to happen in real life.

She drew the flag at the front of the classroom.

Trip to Beach with Grandma Donna and Mommy

Today we went to the beach at the Sandbanks.  It was really fun.

On the way back to the cottage, we saw a water buffalo farm and this heron standing on the side of the road.

And then we saw a mommy turkey and two chicks.

New Bunk Bed!

The Gup C!

Random shots from the cottage

These pansies came up all by themselves this year.  They make me think that mother had something to do with it. :)

Rachel's computer.  Note the keys she drew on it.

I took her to this kind of lame fun park, but it worked out ok.  She got to search for rocks and also pan for different minerals.
